MWAN Mobile currently has exciting opportunity for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer who has hands on experience in development of IT systems against agreed scope and requirements, include designing, documentation and implementing tests cases, debugging and defining corrective actions, software solutions and supporting the development team.

Responsibilities

  • Hands-on experience with
    automated
    testing tools
    (
    Selenium, Cypress
    or
    Appium
    )
  • Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
  • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases to meet client needs
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
  • Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
  • Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
  • Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies
  • Ability to work independently with a strong sense of focus, task-oriented and importantly, a team player

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
  • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Should have the expertise in Gray box testing, practical knowledge of Smoke testing is desirable
  • Agile test methodologies; ATDD, BDD, FDD, TDD
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
  • Test Automation including framework development/maintenance/optimization and automation strategy/planning/execution
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
