Anti-Money Laundering Officer

Role Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated AML Officer to strengthen our compliance team. The role involves monitoring financial transactions, conducting due diligence, investigating suspicious activities, and ensuring adherence to AML regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and analyze transactions for potential money laundering activities
Conduct customer due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD)
Investigate suspicious activities and prepare SAR (Suspicious Activity Reports)
Ensure compliance with SBP regulations and AML/CFT laws
Stay updated on relevant regulatory developments and AML best practices
Prepare regular compliance and risk assessment reports
Collaborate with internal teams and regulatory bodies
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, or related field
3+ years of experience in AML, compliance, or related roles (Fintech experience is a plus)
Strong knowledge of AML/CFT regulations and sanction screening
Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
