This office-based role involves coordinating logistics by communicating with truck drivers and brokers through calls and communications.
Responsibilities:
- The candidate has to go through proper training session.
- The candidate has to learn the attractive welcome call to cater client needs
- Scheduling drivers to make freight deliveries or collect shipments and packages.
- The candidate should know, how to manage calls, deliveries, routes and times for pickups and deliveries
- The candidate will learn about dispatch documents, as well as generating freight bills and invoices .
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch logs, delivery times, and driver performance
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies
- Optimise routes for cost-efficiency and timely delivery
- Coordinate with freight brokers and third-party carriers when needed
