Job Description

We are looking for a
Senior Android Developer
to join our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications. You must have strong technical skills, leadership ability, and hands-on experience with modern Android development tools and architectures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, Backend) to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
  • Ensure application performance, stability, and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and fix bugs and performance issues.
  • Utilize modern Android development approaches such as MVVM, Jetpack Components, and Kotlin Coroutines.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
  • Integrate third-party APIs, SDKs, and services.
  • Work on improving the existing application codebase and upgrading legacy code.

Qualifications & Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience
    in Android application development.
  • Strong expertise in
    Kotlin
    and Java.
  • Experience with
    Android Jetpack
    , Retrofit, Room Database, Coroutines, LiveData, ConstraintLayout, and material design principles.
  • Proficiency in RESTful APIs, JSON, and backend integration.
  • Experience working with Git version control.
  • Strong understanding of Clean Architecture and design patterns.
  • Experience in publishing apps on Google Play Store.
  • Ability to lead projects and provide technical guidance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills (Optional)

  • Experience with Firebase services (FCM, Analytics, Crashlytics).
  • Knowledge of unit testing and UI testing frameworks.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
