Senior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing accurate financial reporting to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in compliance with IFRS/GAAP.
• Manage general ledger functions, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and accuracy.
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with VAT, tax filing, and other statutory requirements.
• Support external and internal audit processes by providing necessary documentation.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support management decisions.
• Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, ACCA, CMA preferred).
• Minimum of 2–3 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Zoho) MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team.
