Bitsol Technologies is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer with 0-1 years of experience in web and mobile testing. The ideal candidate will ensure the quality of our software products, identify bugs, and collaborate with development teams to resolve them. Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications.
  • Develop end-to-end test cases with
    Playwright.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using appropriate tools.
  • Perform various types of testing including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Conduct accessibility testing to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Participate in requirements gathering sessions with the project team to understand the scope and specifications.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure adherence to quality standards and document any discrepancies.
  • Provide feedback on usability and functionality to improve user experience.
  • Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing to ensure product stability and performance.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project deliveries and alignment on project requirements.
  • Apply relevant test measurements and metrics for product/project evaluation.
  • Communicate effectively with offshore clients and project teams to ensure alignment and clarify expectations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 0-1 years of experience in software quality assurance, particularly in web and mobile applications.
  • Experience in developing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as test rail, Jira, Trello, Clickup, Spread sheet, etc.
  • Practical knowledge of Typescript and Javascript
  • Practical knowledge of Visual Studio Code
  • Hands-on experience in both white box and black box testing methodologies.
  • Proficiency in manual testing and familiarity with automated testing tools.
  • Exposure to AI software test cycles and automation tools is a plus.
  • Understanding of Scrum/Agile methodologies for software development and testing.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining focus and quality.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to facilitate collaboration with team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose issues effectively.
  • Great attention to detail and a results-driven approach to quality assurance.
