Animation Specialist

Role Timings: 10 am - 6pm

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly creative and skilled Lead Animator to design and produce engaging animations, motion graphics, and visual content that elevate our brand and product experiences. In this leadership role, you will not only create impactful 2D and 3D animations but also manage and grow a team of animators, ensuring high-quality delivery across projects. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop explainer videos, SaaS-focused content, and product animations. This role requires an expert in After Effects and Premiere Pro, with strong storytelling, design, and editing skills, and proficiency in Blender or similar tools for 3D animation.

What will be your responsibilities?

As a Lead Animator, your responsibilities will include:

• Design and produce high-quality 2D animations (primary focus), along with 3D animations using Blender or similar tools.

• Create visually appealing conventional and modern animations for product demos, tutorials, and marketing campaigns.

• Oversee the creation of explainer videos that simplify complex concepts for SaaS products.

• Apply VFX techniques and compositing to enhance visual storytelling.

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of animators, ensuring effective collaboration and skill development.

• Manage project timelines, delegate tasks, and ensure delivery of animations that align with business needs and brand guidelines.

• Edit and refine video content using Premiere Pro, maintaining professional quality output.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and marketers to deliver animations that enhance product and brand experience.

• Establish and optimize animation workflows to balance creativity with efficiency.

• Stay ahead of industry trends, tools, and best practices in animation, motion design, and video production.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced lead animator who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with creative vision and has the leadership skills to manage and inspire a growing animation team.

An ideal candidate will have the following qualities and experience:

• 1–3 years of professional experience in animation, motion graphics, and video editing.
• Proven track record of leading or mentoring animation teams or projects.
• Strong expertise in 2D animation with solid exposure to 3D animation.
• Proficiency in Blender (or similar tools such as Maya, Cinema 4D, etc.) for 3D work.
• Hands-on mastery of After Effects and Premiere Pro for animation and video editing.
• Strong skills in VFX and compositing.
• Experience producing explainer videos for SaaS products or tech-driven companies.
• Proficiency in conventional animation techniques and modern workflows.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to balance multiple deadlines.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A strong portfolio showcasing expertise in 2D animations, 3D work (Blender or similar), explainer videos, and video editing.
