Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented WordPress Developer Intern to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with a foundational understanding of web development and hands-on experience working with WordPress, particularly using page builders like WPBakery and Elementor. Key Responsibilities

  • Build, customize, and maintain WordPress websites using WPBakery and Elementor page builders.
  • Translate design mockups (Figma, Adobe XD, etc.) into responsive, pixel-perfect web pages.
  • Identify and troubleshoot website issues, including plugin conflicts, layout bugs, and functionality errors.
  • Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility across all devices.
  • Collaborate with senior developers and designers to implement new features and improve user experience.
  • Support the team in managing website backups, updates, and basic security protocols.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with WPBakery Page Builder and Elementor.
  • Good understanding of the WordPress CMS, including themes and plugins.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with responsive design and mobile-first development.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team setting.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with other page builders (e.g., Gutenberg, Beaver Builder) or custom block development.
  • Basic knowledge of PHP for theme and plugin customization.
  • Experience using version control tools like Git.
  • Understanding of SEO best practices in web development.

Education & Experience

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field.
  • 0-6 months of relevant experience in web development with a focus on WordPress.
  • A portfolio or examples of completed projects using WPBakery and/or Elementor is required.
