About the Role

We're looking for a creative, detail-oriented
Web Designer

who thrives at the intersection of
design, content, and strategy

. You'll take client briefs and style references, then create full website concepts in
Figma

—complete with on-brand visuals, clear layouts, and AI-assisted copy.

You'll work closely with our
SEO specialist

to integrate keywords and messaging early, and with our
front-end and back-end developers

to ensure your designs are executed pixel-perfect. Your goal: deliver ready-to-build website mockups that are visually striking, strategically structured, and content-ready.

What You'll Do

  • Translate client briefs

into fully designed websites in Figma (desktop + mobile views).
- Create sitemaps and content outlines

for each project.
- Use
AI writing tools

(and your own editing skills) to produce first-pass, on-brand copy.
- Integrate
SEO recommendations

from our SEO specialist into both design and copy.
- Select imagery—stock or client-provided—that aligns with brand tone and visual style.
- Prepare
developer-friendly handoff packages

with clear annotations, style guides, and content assets.
- Ensure designs follow accessibility and responsive design best practices.
- Collaborate with account management for client feedback rounds and revisions.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience designing marketing and business websites in
    Figma

.
- Strong understanding of
UI principles

—layout, typography, spacing, hierarchy.
- Ability to structure websites for clarity, conversion, and brand storytelling.
- Comfort with
AI-assisted copywriting tools

(e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, Writesonic) and editing for brand voice.
- Knowledge of
basic on-page SEO

(headings, alt text, keyword placement).
- Skilled at sourcing and curating photography, icons, and design elements.
- Experience preparing assets for handoff to developers.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to take direction from briefs.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Familiarity with WordPress, Webflow, or other no-code platforms.
  • Understanding of CRO (conversion rate optimization) principles.
  • Experience with branding or visual identity systems.
  • Knowledge of website accessibility guidelines (WCAG).
