Line QC

Key Responsibilities

• Perform continuous inline inspection at various points in the stitching process.
• Check stitching quality, seam strength, garment measurements, trims, and overall workmanship.
• Ensure each sewing operation is completed correctly according to approved specifications.
• Inspect the first output piece of each operation (First Piece Approval – FPA).
• Verify that the piece meets all construction, measurement, and aesthetic standards.
• Approve or reject based on quality benchmarks and communicate issues to supervisors immediately.
• Ensure that stitching is done as per approved samples, tech packs, and buyer standards.
• Identify and classify defects as minor, major, or critical.
• Tag defective pieces and inform the line supervisor for immediate action or rework.

Experience:

1–3 years experience in quality control in garment manufacturing, preferably in nightwear

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of stitching techniques and garment construction
