Takmeel Square is seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Engineer to join our team in Bahawalpur. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining our company's IT infrastructure, providing timely and effective technical support to our employees, and ensuring the smooth operation of all hardware, software, and network systems. This role is crucial for maintaining the technological efficiency and security of our operations across both our main office and project sites.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support to all employees for hardware, software, network, and peripheral issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Install, configure, and perform regular maintenance on CCTV cameras and related security systems
    .
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights within Active Directory and other company systems.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, including LAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN.
  • Assist in the maintenance of servers, data backups, and recovery procedures.
  • Provide technical support for our ERP system and other business applications.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT processes, systems, and user guides.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of
    2-4 years
    of hands-on experience in an IT support or helpdesk role.
  • Proven experience with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of CCTV systems is required.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficiency in hardware troubleshooting (desktops, laptops, printers).
  • Solid understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Familiarity with user management in an Active Directory environment.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service focus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
