Role Overview

We are looking for a trend-savvy, content-loving Social Media Intern who's passionate about storytelling, community building, and knows how to turn everyday moments into share-worthy content. This intern should have hands-on experience working with User-Generated Content (UGC), whether it's capturing it, curating it, or turning it into Reels, stories, and viral posts. You'll work closely with the marketing team to grow our online presence and give voice to the people behind The Hive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and repurpose UGC from members, events, and community highlights
  • Plan and assist with photo/video shoots and behind-the-scenes content
  • Lead UGC-driven campaigns
  • Track and document campaign metrics and content performance
  • Capture live content during events and interactions within the space
  • Turn authentic moments into stories, reels, and posts that resonate
  • Draft and schedule posts across Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook
  • Monitor DMs, comments, and actively engage with our digital community

Projects you will work on

  • A UGC-led Hive Reels series featuring real members and workspace stories
  • Content Creation using real community experiences
  • Event coverage and instant-story content from on-ground activations
  • Building a "Faces of The Hive" library through video/photo spotlights

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Media Sciences, Marketing, Digital Communication, Business, or a related field
  • Experience sourcing or creating User-Generated Content (bonus if you've done it for another brand or side hustle)

Preferred Qualities

  • Comfortable with Instagram, LinkedIn, Threads, Canva, and Google Workspace
  • Great copywriting and visual storytelling skills
  • Familiarity with social media trends, audio formats, and engagement tactics
  • Self-starter with strong communication and organization skills
