Position: Oracle APEX Developer

Location: Karachi

Industry: Fintech / Software Development

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Oracle APEX Developer to join our dynamic team in Karachi. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Oracle APEX, PL/SQL, Forms, and Reports, with a strong understanding of database-driven application development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Oracle APEX.
  • Create and optimize PL/SQL procedures, functions, and triggers.
  • Develop Oracle Forms and Reports as per business requirements.
  • Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
  • Optimize queries and improve overall application performance.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain existing systems and applications.
  • Ensure adherence to best coding practices and development standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle APEX, PL/SQL, Forms, and Reports.
  • Strong understanding of database design and development.
  • Experience in performance tuning and query optimization.
  • Good problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in banking or fintech applications.
  • Exposure to Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) and HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
