MERN Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MERN (MongoDB, , , ) Developer with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using the MERN stack. They should possess a strong understanding of web development principles, best practices, and be familiar with the latest trends and technologies in the field. The candidate should be a team player, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the team to understand project requirements and specifications
  • Design and develop efficient, scalable, and secure web applications using the MERN stack
  • Implement responsive user interfaces and ensure the best user experience across different devices
  • Develop backend services and APIs using and , ensuring optimal performance and reliability
  • Integrate front-end components with the backend services, ensuring seamless data flow and synchronization
  • Write reusable and maintainable code, following industry best practices and coding standards
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to coding guidelines
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by users and stakeholders, providing timely solutions
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in the MERN stack and related technologies, and suggest improvements to existing projects
  • Work closely with UI/UX designers to implement visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces
  • Ensure proper documentation of code, APIs, and project-related information
  • Collaborate with the testing team to ensure thorough testing of applications and resolve bugs or issues identified during testing
  • Participate in discussions and contribute to the technical architecture and design of new projects

Technical Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of professional experience as a MERN Developer or related role
  • Strong proficiency in front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), , firebase and Redux
  • Thorough understanding of backend technologies, including and
  • Proficiency in database management systems, particularly MongoDB, and designing efficient data models
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming
  • Familiarity with front-end build tools like Webpack and Babel
  • Knowledge of state management libraries such as Redux or MobX
  • Experience with version control systems, preferably Git. understanding of branching and Pull Request generations.
  • Solid understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms
  • Knowledge of server-side rendering and performance optimization techniques
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus
  • Understanding of agile development methodologies and best practices
  • Ability to write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team

Education:

Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
