Mechanical Draftsman (Switchgear Design Works) - NO REMOTE JOB

ITPL Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Mechanical Draftsman with a strong background in switchgear design. The ideal candidate will assist in preparing detailed 2D and 3D drawings for LV/MV switchgear panels and enclosures, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and coordination with engineering teams.

Responsibilities:

1) Preparation of detailed 2D & 3D mechanical drawings for LV/MV switchgear panels, enclosures, and supporting structures.

2) Strong attention to detail, documentation discipline, and ability to work under engineering supervision with minimal rework.

3) Strong time management with ability to meet deadlines.

4) Ability to work effectively in an office-based environment.

Experience/Skills:

1) Experience in preparing General Arrangement (GA) drawings, sectional views, busbar layouts, and panel assembly details.

2) Ability to interpret and convert engineering sketches and concepts into precise fabrication drawings.

3) Skilled in sheet metal detailing, including bend allowances, cutouts, mounting arrangements, and assembly layouts.

4) Ability to generate Bill of Materials (BOMs) and coordinate drawing revisions with engineering teams.

5) Good communication (English), teamwork, and documentation skills for effective cross-department collaboration.

Qualification:

1) Diploma of associate engineer or equivalent.

2) Hands-on experience of 2-3 years in preparing detailed 2D & 3D mechanical drawings for LV/MV switchgear panels, enclosures, and supporting structures.

3) Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor for switchgear mechanical drafting, layout preparation, and design updates.
