Lead – Rewards, Policy & Compliance

Location:

Role Overview

The Lead Rewards, Policy and Compliance is responsible for leading rewards management, HR compliance, and policy governance across the organization. This role ensures that all HR practices comply with regulatory requirements, align with business objectives, and reflect market best practices. The position oversees compensation and benefits, annual appraisals and promotions, HR digitization initiatives, and leads a high-performing HR team to support organizational effectiveness and governance.

Key Responsibilities

Rewards & Compensation Management

  • Design and execute annual ex-gratia, increment, appraisal, and promotion frameworks.
  • Develop increment guidelines, analyze business inputs, and manage approval sessions with senior leadership.
  • Finalize increment letters and coordinate compensation data with payroll teams.
  • Review and approve compensation structures for new hires, ensuring internal equity and market competitiveness.
  • Conduct role and job evaluations to ensure compliance, appropriate controls, and segregation of duties.

HR Policy Development & Governance

  • Create and execute an annual HR policy roadmap with defined milestones and CHRO approval.
  • Draft HR policies, conduct financial impact analysis, and present proposals to senior leadership and the board.
  • Develop and implement HR policies aligned with organizational needs and market benchmarks.
  • Lead policy communication and awareness sessions across the organization.

HR Compliance & Employee Relations

  • Ensure organizational HR compliance through continuous monitoring of HR data and processes in SuccessFactors.
  • Identify policy and process gaps, escalating critical risks to the CHRO.
  • Maintain accurate hiring and employee records in line with compliance requirements.
  • Manage disciplinary actions, show-cause notices, terminations, rightsizing, and layoff-related activities.
  • Oversee HR communications, including policy updates, learning guidelines, and hiring announcements.
  • Establish and enforce workplace decorum, attendance, and disciplinary frameworks.

HR Digitization & Risk Management

  • Lead the digitization of HR policies and compliance processes to ensure real-time accessibility, version control, and audit readiness.
  • Identify HR compliance risks and embed effective controls within HR systems.
  • Ensure strong data governance, access controls, and regulatory compliance for all digital HR records.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop the HR Compliance, Policies, and Rewards team to deliver high performance.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and implement development plans.
  • Identify training needs and build team capability.
  • Foster a collaborative, professional, and performance-driven work culture.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Master's in Business Administration (HR) preferred
  • 5–7 years
    of progressive HR experience with strong exposure to
    Rewards, HR Policies, and Compliance
  • Experience working with HRIS platforms (SuccessFactors preferred)
