Job Description: Head of Technology & Architecture

About the Company:

AlemX is a next-generation super app in fintech and the attention economy. We combine social media, payments, blockchain, cross-platform wallets, and a unique Proof-of-Attention protocol. Our target market is global — including MENA, Southeast Asia, Latin America, and Europe.

Role Mission:

We are looking for an experienced technology leader to take full ownership of AlemX's architecture and technical development, build processes, and prepare the platform for global scaling. This role comes with a direct path to CTO within 12–18 months.

Key Responsibilities

Develop the company's technology strategy aligned with business objectives.

Design platform architecture with scalability, security, and reliability in mind.

Oversee the development of core modules: social media, wallets, payment integrations, crypto cards, smart contracts, and proof-of-attention.

Conduct code reviews, and manage CI/CD and DevOps processes.

Coordinate and manage distributed teams across multiple countries, ensuring sprint delivery.

Select and integrate third-party fintech and blockchain services (Fireblocks, MoonPay, Transak, Cregis, etc.).

Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements (GDPR, PCI DSS, FATF).

Prepare the technological infrastructure for rapid international growth.

Requirements

7+ years in software development and technology leadership in Fintech, Payments, or Blockchain.

Proven experience with distributed systems, microservices, and API integrations.

Strong knowledge of blockchain platforms (Ethereum, BSC, Polygon, etc.).

Hands-on experience with payment gateways, card processing, AML/KYC solutions.

Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud environments.

Excellent leadership skills and ability to work in a multicultural, distributed environment.

Fluent English (spoken and written).

Nice to Have

Track record of launching large-scale, high-traffic applications.

Experience working with regulators and payment associations.

Understanding of tokenomics and DeFi.
