RAC Technician

Job Title:

Technician – RAC (Refrigeration & Air Conditioning)

Karachi (Korangi)

Job Summary:

The RAC Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining water dispensers, cooling units, and related RAC systems. The role involves both in-house servicing and field visits to ensure smooth operation and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of water dispensers and other RAC equipment.
• Troubleshoot cooling system issues, including compressor, gas charging, thermostat, and circuit-related faults.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
• Support field operations by visiting customer sites for inspection and issue resolution.
• Maintain service records and report work status daily to the supervisor.
• Follow safety, quality, and operational standards during all service activities.
• Coordinate with the supply chain team for spare parts and replacement requirements.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned service calls and installations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:

• DAE in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (RAC) or equivalent.

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in RAC maintenance or dispenser service.

Skills:

• Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Ability to work independently and in field environments.
