We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Video Editor with 3+ years of experience in crafting cinematic, high-conversion content across formats—long-form videos, short-form reels, podcast edits, animated explainers, and more. The ideal candidate is not only a master of traditional editing but also a trailblazer in AI video generation, with hands-on expertise in tools like Sora, Veo V3, and other cutting-edge platforms.

If you can edit like no one can catch, build full scenes from fragments, and write expert-level prompts that extract stunning visuals from AI models—this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit a wide range of video content:
  • Long-form (YouTube, interviews, tutorials)
  • Short-form (Reels, TikToks, ads, UGC)
  • Podcast edits (audio-visual sync, highlight cuts)
  • Animated explainers and motion graphics
  • Create cinematic sequences using B-roll, transitions, and sound design
  • Repurpose long videos into short, high-impact clips for social media
  • Build full scenes from short or fragmented footage
  • Design and animate visual elements to enhance storytelling
  • Use AI video generation tools (e.g., Sora, Veo V3, Runway, Pika) to create original content
  • Write expert-level prompts for AI video models to achieve specific visual outcomes
  • Collaborate with creative, marketing, and content teams to align on brand tone and goals
  • Stay ahead of trends in editing styles, AI tools, and visual storytelling

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years of professional video editing experience
  • Mastery of tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve
  • Strong portfolio of cinematic, fast-paced, and emotionally engaging edits
  • Experience editing for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and podcast platforms
  • Proven ability to create animated videos and motion graphics
  • Deep knowledge of AI video generation tools like Sora, Veo V3, Runway, Pika, Gen-2, etc.
  • Ability to craft highly detailed prompts for AI video generation with consistent quality output
  • Strong storytelling instincts, pacing, and visual composition
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience in medical aesthetics, real estate, fashion, or e-commerce content
  • Familiarity with voiceover syncing, subtitles, and localization
  • Understanding of color grading, LUTs, and cinematic lighting techniques
  • Knowledge of AI voice and image generation tools for integrated content creation

Salary Range:

  • PKR 20,000 to 30,000 per month (based on experience and performance)
