Job Summary

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Social Media Content Writer to join our marketing team. This role involves crafting compelling content tailored for various social media platforms to enhance brand awareness, increase engagement, and drive traffic. The ideal candidate is a strong storyteller with a passion for digital trends, who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, edit, and schedule original content across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Research trending topics, industry news, and audience interests to develop relevant and engaging content.
  • Collaborate with design and marketing teams to develop and execute social media campaigns.
  • Optimize content for SEO and platform-specific algorithms to maximize visibility and engagement.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics (e.g., reach, engagement, conversions) and provide regular insights and reports.
  • Actively engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and brand-appropriate voice.
  • Ensure consistency in tone, messaging, and branding across all social channels.
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, tools, platform updates, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a content writer or similar role, preferably focused on social media.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple social media platforms and familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Twitter Analytics, LinkedIn Insights).
  • Basic knowledge of visual content tools such as Canva, Adobe Spark, or similar.
  • Strong attention to detail, creativity, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Solid understanding of social media trends, hashtags, and audience engagement strategies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (preferred but not required).

Preferred Skills

  • Working knowledge of SEO and keyword strategies for social content.
  • Experience using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Later).
  • Ability to adapt writing style for different industries and audiences.
  • Basic understanding of paid social media advertising (e.g., Meta Ads, LinkedIn Sponsored Content).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs50, Rs55,000.00 per month
