We are a UK-based accounting firm helping individuals and businesses with tax, bookkeeping, payroll, and strategic financial planning. As we continue to expand our digital presence, we're looking for a skilled SEO Executive who understands how to grow visibility and drive high-quality leads in the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve organic rankings, traffic, and conversions for our accounting service pages.
  • Conduct keyword research focused on UK financial and accounting terms.
  • Optimize on-page elements: metadata, content structure, internal linking, schema markup, etc.
  • Plan and execute off-page SEO activities including link building, outreach, and guest posting on reputable finance-related websites.
  • Manage and monitor Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Google Business Profile for performance tracking.
  • Collaborate with content writers to ensure blogs and landing pages are SEO-optimized and compliant with FCA/financial content guidelines.
  • Stay updated with Google algorithm updates and best practices in SEO for financial services.
  • Prepare monthly SEO reports highlighting performance, insights, and recommendations.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of hands-on SEO experience (finance, accounting, or other professional services websites preferred).
  • Proven track record of improving rankings and leads for service-based websites.
  • Strong understanding of UK search trends, local SEO, and competitor analysis.
  • Experience using SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, GA4, GSC, etc.).
  • Knowledge of E-E-A-T principles and how they apply to financial content.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with content marketing in the finance niche.
  • Familiarity with WordPress or other CMS platforms.
  • Understanding of technical SEO (page speed, site architecture, indexing).
  • Understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles.
