We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commis Chef female to join our Cold Kitchen team. In this role, you will assist in the preparation and presentation of cold dishes, including salads, dressings, , cold appetizers, This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop foundational culinary skills in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare cold dishes such as salads, sandwiches, dressings, dips, and under the supervision of the Chef de Partie.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of the cold kitchen station.
• Maintain consistent quality and presentation standards for all cold items.
• Ensure ingredients are properly washed, cut, portioned, and stored.
• Practice proper food handling and hygiene standards at all times.
• Label, date, and store food items in compliance with food safety standards.
• Clean and maintain cold kitchen workstations, equipment, and tools.
• Communicate effectively with other kitchen sections to support smooth operations.
• Follow portion control guidelines and minimize food waste.

Requirements:

• Basic culinary training or previous kitchen experience preferred (cold kitchen experience is a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and presentation.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety standards.
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
• Eagerness to learn and work as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Knife skills and familiarity with cold prep techniques are desirable.
