Company Description

The Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA), established under the Punjab Safe Cities Ordinance 2015, is dedicated to developing and maintaining an integrated command, control, and communication system (PPIC3) for the Police in major cities of Punjab to ensure public safety. PSCA aims to enhance security and quality of life through technology, infrastructure, personnel, and processes. The PPIC3 Center has been developed for Punjab Police in Lahore and will be extended to other cities. Recently, PSCA surveyed 2000 locations to install over 10,000 surveillance cameras covering key infrastructure and public areas.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Develop and maintain web-based applications using PHP and the Laravel framework.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers, frontend developers, and data engineers to build integrated solutions.
  • Write clean, testable, and well-documented code following industry standards and organizational guidelines.
  • Design and implement APIs and backend logic for dashboards, portals, and automation tools.
  • Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and deploy fixes in coordination with DevOps.
  • Ensure security standards are enforced at all levels of application logic and database interaction.
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and project progress discussions.
  • Integrate third-party systems, databases, and APIs as required.
  • Maintain and update documentation for technical components and processes.
  • Stay updated with emerging backend technologies, Laravel updates, and development tools.
  • Sixteen (16) years education in Computer Science or Software Engineering
  • Minimum of four (04) years of relevant experience in private or public sector
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, MVC, MySQL
