Role Overview:

We are seeking a
Book Designer
with proven experience in
Adobe InDesign
and a keen eye for
AI-generated images
. The ideal candidate will design visually compelling and reader-friendly books while exploring the integration of AI-driven visuals into creative content.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and format books, including graded readers, using
    Adobe InDesign
  • Collaborate with content creators and editors to produce polished layouts
  • Select, refine, and integrate
    AI-generated images
    into book projects
  • Maintain branding consistency, templates, and design standards
  • Prepare files optimized for both print and digital publishing

Requirements:

  • Minimum
    2 years of professional experience
    with Adobe InDesign
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, and book design principles
  • Familiarity with AI image-generation tools (MidJourney, Stable Diffusion, DALL·E, etc.)
  • Attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills
  • A strong design portfolio showcasing relevant work

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience designing educational or literacy-focused publications
  • Proficiency with Photoshop/Illustrator
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards in design
