Job Identification

We are looking for a Procurement Category Specialist to be part of our Supply Chain Team in Lahore.

What We Expect

1. Support sourcing event drafts and contracting needs for category group at the regional level and according to procurement strategies determined by corporations.

2. Provide support to the Procurement Category Lead in strategy building, category analyses, market analysis, and category reporting to drive negotiations and supplier selection.

3. Support the execution of sourcing events within provided spend limits as determined at corporate category group level.

4. Ensure all procurement activates to align with CCI policies, audit expectations, and countries Legislation.

5. Maintain good utilization for eProcurement tools made available by CCI.

6. Develop and source alternatives to bring new local/global suppliers into the system, to engage in problems with suppliers such as quality, delivery, payments etc., create contingency plans.

7. Utilize reporting and analytics to drive key strategies and decisions for the category group.

8. Monitor industry trends and evolving technology to proactively identify supply base issues to minimize risk, protect continuity of supply, and exploit emerging opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (Engineering/Finance/Business Administration)
• English level upper-intermediate
• Experience min 2 years
