VBA Macro Programmer

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced VBA Macro Programmer with strong expertise in automating processes in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, along with knowledge of SAP connectivity, MS Access, and SQL Server integration. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining automation solutions that enhance business efficiency and provide technical consulting to end users.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize VBA macros in Excel for complex business processes.

Build automation workflows in Google Sheets using Google Apps Script.

Create, maintain, and optimize Access database connections with MS SQL Server.

Develop Excel solutions integrated with SAP data sources and connectivity tools.

Provide consulting and user support on Excel and Access software-related issues.

Create advanced VB Code within MS Excel and manage projects in Visual Basic Editor (VBE).

Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support decision-making.

Integrate Excel/Google Sheets with APIs, databases, or third-party applications where needed.

Troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance existing automation solutions.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Document all workflows, processes, and provide training/user manuals as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on experience in Excel VBA programming and automation.

Advanced expertise in Macro development and VB Code within Excel.

Strong working knowledge of Visual Basic Editor (VBE).

Experience with SAP connectivity to MS Excel.

Working knowledge of MS Access integration with MS SQL Server.

Strong skills in Google Sheets automation (Google Apps Script).

Proficiency in advanced Excel features (formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, data modeling).

Experience consulting and instructing end users on Excel and Access issues.

Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in financial modeling, reporting, or analytics.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (Google Workspace, Office 365).

Exposure to Python, Power Query, or RPA tools is a plus.
