Mid‑Level .NET Core Developer (3–4 years) — ERP Modules

Role summary

We are seeking a pragmatic Mid‑Level .NET Core Developer with 3–4 years of hands‑on experience building ERP modules. You will implement backend services, translate complex business workflows into reliable code, integrate with third‑party systems, and collaborate with QA, product, and DevOps to deliver end‑to‑end ERP functionality.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core and C#.
  • Implement ERP module functionality such as inventory, sales order, procurement, manufacturing, and finance.
  • Translate user stories and business rules into technical designs, tasks, and testable code.
  • Build and validate integrations with external systems, middleware, and APIs; implement robust error handling and retry logic.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas for SQL Server.
  • Collaborate with QA to define acceptance criteria, support automated and manual testing, and troubleshoot defects.
  • Participate in code reviews, enforce coding standards, and improve system maintainability and performance.
  • Create deployment/runbooks for staging environments, and assist in platform troubleshooting.
  • Produce clear technical documentation, API specifications, and runbooks for cross‑team use.

Required skills and experience

  • 3–4 years professional experience with .NET Core (ASP.NET Core) and C#.
  • Practical experience developing ERP modules or working on complex business applications with multi‑module workflows.
  • Strong REST API design skills and familiarity with authentication patterns (JWT, OAuth, 2FA concepts).
  • Proficient in SQL Server, writing optimized queries, and basic database design and migration practices.
  • Experience with source control (Git) and standard branch/PR workflows.
  • Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit) and writing testable code.
  • Solid debugging and performance troubleshooting skills.
  • Clear verbal and written communication and proven ability to work in Agile/Scrum teams.

Good to have

  • Experience with PowerBuilder / Appeon for legacy UI migration or integration projects.
  • Proficiency with Entity Framework Core and managing migrations.
  • Exposure to message queues or event‑driven patterns (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Azure Service Bus).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and containerization (Docker).
  • Frontend familiarity with Angular or React to support full‑stack collaboration.
  • Prior exposure to financial posting, costing, or ledger flows within ERP systems.

Education and logistics

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Willingness to overlap core team hours; remote on‑site
