The HR Supervisor will lead the development, implementation, and management of all HR operations related strategies and functions within the organization. This role is critical in aligning HR practices with business objectives, driving performance, fostering a positive work culture, and ensuring compliance with local labour laws and international best practices. The HR Supervisor will serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, providing expert guidance on all HR matters and leading a team to deliver high-quality HR services across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compensation & Benefits:
- Develop, review, and implement compensation strategies aligned with the company goals and industry benchmarks.
- Develop salary structures, variable pay schemes, pay for performance and benefits programs.
- Conduct periodic salary surveys and internal equity analyses to ensure competitiveness and fairness.
- Support annual performance appraisal and salary review processes.
- Manage end-of-service benefits, gratuity calculations, and final settlements in line with applicable laws.
- HR Governance and Compliance:
- Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with Labour Law (or applicable jurisdiction) and international best practices.
- Develop, update, and enforce HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbooks.
- Coordinate internal and external HR audits, ensuring documentation and practices are fully compliant.
- Monitor HR risks and implement controls to mitigate legal and ethical exposure.
- HRIS Implementation & Management:
- Lead or support the implementation of HR Information Systems (HRIS) or upgrades.
- Serve as the functional expert and liaison between HR and IT/vendors for system configuration and data integrity.
- Ensure HR data accuracy, reporting capability, and automation of processes (leave, payroll, attendance, etc.).
- Train HR staff and end users on system functionalities and usage.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of compensation frameworks, salary benchmarking tools, and benefits structuring.
- Proven experience in HR governance, policy design, and compliance monitoring.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS systems implementation, such as SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, Workday, or similar.
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- High attention to detail and confidentiality.
Qualifications:
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's or CIPD certification preferred). - Experience:
Minimum 5–7 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory
role focusing on C&B and systems. - Strong understanding of the Labour Law and international HR best practices.
- Experience working in a mid to large-sized organization or in multi-site/multi-country HR setups is a plus.
