Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role as a Fisheries Consultant based in Lahore, with some work-from-home opportunities. The Fisheries Consultant will be responsible for conducting field assessments, analyzing data, developing sustainable fisheries management plans, and providing technical advice. The consultant will also liaise with stakeholders, prepare reports, and contribute to policy development and implementation.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in fisheries management, aquatic ecology, and related fields
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Experience in developing sustainable fisheries management plans
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to prepare comprehensive reports and policy documents
- Proficiency with relevant software tools and technologies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marine Biology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
- Fieldwork experience and knowledge of local fisheries is a plus
