Job Summary:

The Cashier is responsible for managing company cash transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring all financial activities are properly documented. The position requires precision, confidentiality, and prior experience in cash handling or accounting roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle daily cash transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Record all payments, expenses, and receipts in the system.
  • Maintain proper documentation of vouchers, receipts, and petty cash expenditures.
  • Verify, balance, and reconcile daily cash statements.
  • Support the Accounts Officer in cash-related reporting and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company financial procedures and policies.
  • Maintain security and confidentiality of all cash and financial documents.
  • Perform any other finance-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Education:
     Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience:
     Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Cashier or in a similar accounting/finance position.
  • Skills:
  • Strong record-keeping and numerical accuracy
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting basics
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and confidentiality
