About the Role

Unity Films Pvt Ltd is seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Crime Script Writer to join our in-house content team. This is a full-time, on-site position ideal for individuals passionate about crime storytelling, investigative narratives, and dramatic recreations. You will be responsible for crafting compelling, well-researched scripts for digital content focused on crime, mystery, and real-life incidents.

Key Responsibilities

Write original, engaging, and research-based crime scripts for video content

Develop characters, plotlines, and dialogues that align with the tone and theme of crime storytelling

Research real-life cases and ensure factual accuracy while maintaining storytelling appeal

Collaborate with the production, direction, and editing teams to bring scripts to life

Edit and revise scripts based on feedback from creative leads

Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Ensure content adheres to platform guidelines and legal considerations

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Media Studies, English, Journalism, or a related field (completed)

Strong command over written Urdu and/or English (depending on content language)

Excellent storytelling skills with a flair for crime, thriller, and investigative narratives

Ability to conduct thorough research and fact-checking

Must be based in Islamabad/Rawalpindi or willing to work on-site in Rawalpindi

Previous experience in scriptwriting or content writing is a plus, but fresh candidates with strong writing abilities are welcome to apply
