Penetration Tester

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Penetration Tester to join our cybersecurity team. The ideal candidate will identify, exploit, and report vulnerabilities across applications, networks, and systems to ensure our infrastructure remains secure. You'll simulate real-world cyberattacks to evaluate and strengthen our security posture.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive penetration testing on web, mobile, and network environments.
• Simulate real-world attack scenarios to uncover security weaknesses.
• Identify and exploit vulnerabilities using both manual techniques and automated tools.
• Produce detailed reports with findings, risk levels, and mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with developers and IT teams to verify fixes and retest vulnerabilities.
• Stay updated on the latest attack vectors, tools, and penetration methodologies.
• Assist in red team exercises and vulnerability management programs

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Proven experience performing penetration tests and vulnerability assessments.
• Proficiency in tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, Wireshark, OWASP ZAP, and Kali Linux.
• Understanding of network protocols, operating systems, firewalls, and application security.
• Familiarity with OWASP Top 10, MITRE ATT&CK, and CVE standards.
• Hands-on experience with scripting or exploit development (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.).
• Preferred certifications: OSCP, CEH, GPEN, or eCPPT.

Preferred Skills

• Cloud penetration testing (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• API and mobile app penetration testing.
• Experience with red teaming or social engineering assessments.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.
