Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Senior Data Engineer role located in Lahore. The Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data pipelines to support data analytics and decision-making processes. Day-to-day tasks include building and maintaining robust ETL processes, developing and managing efficient data models, overseeing data warehousing operations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance data accessibility and usability. The role requires analyzing complex data sources, ensuring high-quality data integration, and contributing to overall infrastructure scalability and performance.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Data Engineering, including building and maintaining scalable data pipelines.
  • Proficient in Data Modeling to create efficient and logical database structures.
  • Hands-on experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and tools to support seamless data flow.
  • Knowledge of Data Warehousing principles to manage, optimize, and execute large-scale storage systems.
  • Experience in Data Analytics to derive actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with cloud platforms, scripting languages, and big data technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required; a master's degree is a plus.
