About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated and curious DevOps Intern to join our high-impact team. This is a hands-on role designed for someone passionate about cloud-native technologies, automation, and building reliable systems. You will work alongside experienced DevOps engineers, gaining invaluable experience in managing cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies in a real-world, client-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development, maintenance, and optimization of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Help deploy, monitor, and maintain services across various cloud providers (GCP, AWS).
  • Gain hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform.
  • Support the team in containerizing applications with Docker and managing orchestration with Kubernetes.
  • Participate in system monitoring and observability to ensure high availability.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve development and deployment bottlenecks.
  • Contribute to documentation for processes, configurations, and runbooks.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A foundational understanding of Linux and comfort with the command line interface (CLI).
  • Familiarity with core DevOps concepts: CI/CD, containers, and cloud computing.
  • Basic knowledge of at least one scripting language (e.g., Bash, Python).
  • A keen interest in learning about infrastructure automation and cloud-native technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, eager-to-learn attitude.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

  • Personal projects or coursework related to DevOps, cloud, or automation.
  • Basic experience with Docker or a CI/CD tool like GitHub Actions.
