Core Responsibilities: Teaching

  • Deliver structured and interactive science lessons to students through online platforms and digital tools.
  • Coordinate with in-class Teacher Assistants to manage classroom dynamics and ensure effective learning.
  • Develop and execute lesson plans ensuring alignment with the curriculum requirements of the region served while maintaining consistency with global best practices.
  • Continuously assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, providing feedback for improvement.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning needs and ensure inclusivity in instruction.

Affiliated Responsibilities:

Instructional and Academic Strategy

  • Develop, adapt, and implement science curricula tailored to the needs of virtual learners, ensuring alignment with global and regional standards (e.g., GCSE, IB).
  • Stay informed about global best practices, trends, and EdTech tools to enhance instructional strategies.
  • Refine and adapt teaching strategies to achieve excellence in science education, integrating global best practices.

Curriculum Development and Delivery

  • Design or adapt comprehensive science curricula that align with international standards and local requirements.
  • Incorporate practical, hands-on activities, simulations, and multimedia to enhance virtual learning experiences.
  • Oversee and support the delivery of high-quality science lessons to students, ensuring consistency across all grades and curricula.
  • Implement remediation programs to address gaps in students' understanding of science concepts.

Supplementary Responsibilities

  • Content Development
  • Assist in creating or reviewing science teaching materials and resources aligned with the curriculum.
  • Collaborate on the development of assessments, activities, and projects that enhance student engagement.
  • Academic Research
  • Support research initiatives aimed at improving science pedagogy and integrating EdTech tools effectively.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on teaching experiences for academic studies.
  • Teacher Training and PLCs
  • Participate in or lead Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) to share best practices with peers.
  • Conduct or support teacher training sessions focused on science teaching methods, as required.

Qualification:

Required:

· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology)

· Bachelor's degree in Education (BEd) with a focus on science.

Experience:

Required:

· Minimum 3-5 years of teaching experience in science.
