Systems limited is looking for skilled
Senior DevOps Engineer
with
5+ years of experience
in designing and implementing observability solutions across hybrid and cloud-native environments. The role focuses on telemetry collection, AIOps integration, reliability engineering, and enabling end-to-end visibility using modern observability and automation tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Design end-to-end observability architectures using tools such as ELK,
    Datadog, New Relic, Splunk, AppDynamics, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Dynatrace, etc.
  • Implement telemetry collection (metrics, logs, traces, events) across hybrid/cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes).
  • Integrate AIOps platforms (e.g., Moogsoft, BigPanda, Dynatrace Davis, Splunk ITSI, ServiceNow AIOps) to enable noise reduction, root cause analysis, and incident automation.
  • Implement observability and reliability as code across
    CI/CD pipelines
    using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Terraform, and Helm.
  • Embed monitoring, logging, and tracing into the SDLC, ensuring visibility across delivery stages.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployment, rollback, and recovery processes.
  • Define and implement
    SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets
    to measure service health and drive engineering decisions.
  • Conduct
    blameless postmortems
    , develop runbooks, and lead reliability reviews.
  • Design and execute
    chaos experiments
    to test system resilience under failure scenarios using tools like
    Gremlin, Chaos Mesh, LitmusChaos
    , or custom scripts.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to stakeholders across IT Ops, Dev, QA, and business units.
  • Lead workshops, POCs, and roadmap planning sessions to align teams on goals and observability maturity.
  • Qualification:
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in observability, SRE, or DevOps roles.
  • Proficient in tools like
    ELK, Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Dynatrace, New Relic
    , etc.
  • Strong cloud experience (
    AWS, Azure, GCP
    ) and Kubernetes monitoring.
  • Experience with AIOps platforms (
    Moogsoft, BigPanda, Splunk ITSI, Dynatrace Davis, ServiceNow AIOps
    ).
  • Skilled in CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (
    GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Terraform, Helm, ArgoCD
    ).
  • Practical knowledge of SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and chaos engineering.
  • Strong automation, scripting, and stakeholder engagement skills.
