Black Buck Designs is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Junior CMS Developer to join our creative development team at our Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Block 3A office in Karachi. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of WordPress and other CMS platforms, along with the ability to customize themes, manage plugins, and maintain responsive, user-friendly websites.

As a Junior CMS Developer, you will assist in developing, maintaining, and optimizing websites for our clients across different industries. You'll work closely with our design, development, and marketing teams to ensure seamless functionality, pixel-perfect implementation, and strong performance across all devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain websites using WordPress, Shopify, Wix, or similar CMS platforms.
  • Customize and modify themes, plugins, and templates as per project requirements.
  • Ensure websites are responsive, optimized, and cross-browser compatible.
  • Work collaboratively with designers to convert layouts into functional web pages.
  • Perform website updates, bug fixes, and performance improvements.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions.
  • Support the senior development team in ongoing web projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 1+ year of experience (fresh graduates with strong portfolios are encouraged to apply).
  • Hands-on experience with WordPress (Elementor, Divi, or custom themes).
  • Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP.
  • Understanding of website speed optimization and SEO best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills (Plus Points):

  • Experience with Shopify, Wix, or Webflow.
  • Knowledge of cPanel, hosting setup, and domain management.
  • Familiarity with Figma or Adobe XD for converting design to code.
