We are seeking an experienced Oracle Middleware Engineer to manage, configure, and support Oracle middleware platforms across on-premises and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Oracle WebLogic Server, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and related Fusion middleware components. The role involves platform administration, deployments, performance tuning, security, automation, and collaboration with development and cloud teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, upgrade, and manage Oracle WebLogic Server in clustered and standalone environments.
  • Manage domains, managed/admin servers, JDBC data sources, JMS modules, deployment plans, and security realms.
  • Perform performance tuning, JVM optimization, connection pool tuning, and high availability configurations.
  • Configure Oracle HTTP Server (OHS), reverse proxy, load balancing, and SSL/TLS.
  • Manage OCI resources: compute instances, object storage, VCN, subnets, gateways, load balancers, IAM policies, and compartments.
  • Deploy and manage middleware workloads on OCI and Oracle Cloud Marketplace.
  • Develop, configure, and maintain OIC integrations (App-driven, Scheduled, REST/SOAP) and Process Automation workflows.
  • Configure and monitor adapters (ERP, HCM, SOAP, REST, DB, FTP, OCI storage).
  • Administer Oracle SOA Suite and Oracle Service Bus (OSB); troubleshoot composites and integration failures.
  • Automate deployments using WLST, OPatch, Shell scripting, Python, or Ansible.
  • Create CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
  • Monitor performance using OEM, OCI Monitoring, or third-party tools; troubleshoot JVM crashes, stuck threads, and JDBC issues.
  • Configure and maintain security: SSL/TLS, keystores, truststores, JCE policies, and WebLogic roles.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational security and audit standards.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 4–5 years in Oracle Middleware administration.
  • Hands-on expertise with Oracle WebLogic Server, including domain setup, HA, clustering, and tuning.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) resources and administration.
  • Good understanding of OIC integrations, adapters, and monitoring.
  • Knowledge of SOA Suite, OSB, and Oracle API Platform is a plus.
  • Strong Linux/Unix administration skills.
  • Experience with automation using WLST, Shell scripting, or Python.
  • Understanding of networking, load balancing, security, firewalls, DNS, and certificates.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
