ROLE PURPOSE
The Head of Human Resources (HOD HR) will lead the design and execution of organizational development initiatives, establish and maintain robust standard operating procedures (SOPs), and craft HR strategies that are tightly aligned with the company's vision, mission, and strategic goals. The role drives culture, leadership capability, process excellence, and workforce performance to enable sustainable growth and operational effectiveness.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Organizational Development
Assess current organizational structure, culture, capabilities, and change-readiness; develop a multi-year OD roadmap aligned with strategic objectives.
- Design and implement leadership development programs, succession planning, performance management, talent mobility, and change management initiatives.
- Lead workforce planning, culture enhancement, team effectiveness, and employee engagement programs to improve productivity and retention.
Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) practices and create an inclusive work environment.
SOPs, Policies, and Process Excellence
Develop, review, and maintain end-to-end SOPs for all critical business processes, ensuring clarity, compliance, controls, and scalability.
- Lead process improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma principles) to optimize HR operations and cross-functional workflows.
- Ensure governance, policy consistency, and change management for new or revised SOPs.
Create implementation playbooks, training materials, and communication plans for SOP adoption.
HR Strategy and Alignment
Translate business strategy into HR strategy and actionable plans with measurable KPIs and milestones.
- Partner with senior leadership to align compensation and benefits, talent management, and organizational design with strategic priorities.
- Monitor external trends in HR, OD, and labor laws; anticipate impact on the organization and adapt accordingly.
Develop metrics and dashboards to track impact of OD initiatives and HR programs on business outcomes.
Talent Management and Learning
Oversee talent acquisition strategies, onboarding, and early career development to ensure a strong, capable workforce.
- Design competency frameworks, career paths, and continuous learning opportunities.
Drive performance management cycles, feedback culture, and recognition programs.
Employee Relations and Compliance
Maintain a healthy employee relations climate; resolve escalations with fairness and HR best practices.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, data privacy, and organizational policies; manage audits and risk mitigation.
- Oversee HR analytics, data integrity, and HRIS management.
