Role Description

Submit and follow up on insurance claims (both EDI and paper, where applicable)

Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility

Manage aging reports and denials

Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements

Work closely with providers and staff to resolve billing issues

Requirements:

1–2+ years of medical billing experience

Familiarity with CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, and modifiers

Experience with billing software

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent communication and follow-up abilities

Preferred:

Experience with specialty billing (e.g., chiropractic, behavioral health, physical therapy, etc.)

Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance guidelines

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Medical Terminology and ICD-10 coding
  • Experience handling denials and insurance claims
  • Knowledge of Medicare billing procedures
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in an on-site setting in Karāchi
  • Prior experience in medical billing or a related healthcare field is a plus
  • Certification in medical billing or coding is advantageous
