Cornerstone Architects & Engineers Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an office-based Electrical Design Engineer with at least 3 years of experience in MEP building services design. This role is focused exclusively on design and documentation, not site execution or supervision. Candidates must have prior experience working in an engineering consultancy or design office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design complete electrical systems for building projects including power distribution, lighting, low current, grounding, and lightning protection.
  • Perform load calculations, short-circuit studies, and panel scheduling in compliance with relevant standards (NEC / IEC / BS).
  • Prepare and review electrical layouts, single-line diagrams, and schematic drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit MEP.
  • Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, and architectural teams for integrated MEP designs.
  • Prepare BOQs, design reports, and technical specifications.
  • Participate in design reviews and ensure adherence to project deadlines and quality standards.
  • Stay up to date with energy efficiency codes, emerging technologies, and best practices in building design.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in MEP design consultancy or engineering office (not site execution).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; working knowledge of Revit MEP, Dialux, and ETAP is a strong advantage.
  • Solid understanding of international design codes (NEC, IEC, BS).
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple design projects simultaneously.

Not Suitable For:

  • Candidates with experience limited to site execution or supervision.
  • Draftsmen or technicians without independent design capability.
  • Applicants lacking experience in building services design or MEP consultancy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs90, Rs135,000.00 per month
