Job Purpose:
To design, analyze, and improve manufacturing processes in a rice processing facility to increase productivity, reduce waste, and ensure efficient use of labor, machinery, and materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze current rice milling operations to identify inefficiencies.
- Develop and implement process improvements for production, packaging, and logistics.
- Conduct time-and-motion studies to optimize workflow and minimize downtime.
- Design factory layouts or modify existing layouts for better flow and safety.
- Implement lean manufacturing techniques and Six Sigma practices.
- Collaborate with maintenance, quality control, and production teams to solve operational issues.
- Monitor KPIs such as yield, throughput, labor efficiency, and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses for new equipment or process changes.
