HRSI is looking for Import and Export Specialist for one its leading client.

Job Description

  • Monitor customs and transportation invoices and their timely submission to finance department.
  • Responsible for ensuring that advance purchase orders for Services being taken from external parties are timely raised for making compliant process.
  • Liaise with DRAP for NOC for imported Raw and pack materials and export shipments to other countries.
  • Responsible to take all necessary steps for custom clearance of all Imported items by ensuring the KPI of custom clearance days.
  • Responsible to follow the condition of duty and taxes required for custom clearance.
  • Responsible for the Pay order arrangement through bank portal.
  • Monitoring and applying the GDs in WEBOC and document submission through PSW for timely custom clearance.
  • Responsible for dealing the IOCO quota approvals and related activities.
  • Responsible for arranging the transport for material deliveries to required destination.
  • Responsible for taking all NOCs from DRAP pertains to the material clearance or any sample submissions.
  • Ensures that all inbound custom entries, are processed in a timely, accurate, and consistent manner.
  • Coordinates with Buyers, Suppliers, Forwarders, Carriers, clearing agents and Site Management filing prior to the Import shipments, required information such as roadmaps, classification information, importer filing and other requirements from other related regulatory agencies.
  • Ensure invoices are delivered in time from Vendor and liaise with finance, ICSS team for three-way match and payment as per due date.
  • The incumbent will need the mental capability to coordinate all the responsibilities of the position based on the daily needs with a minimal supervision. Work output in a timely, accurate and consistent manner is critical to run the business.
  • Shipment activities require attention to details to ensure transportation regulations are followed. They require correct interpretation and execution with minimum supervision to ensure that forwarders, carriers, and airlines execute all logistics activities in a timely, effective, and correct manner to comply with Domestic and International Transportation regulations.
  • Responsible for the follow up with relevant team for the advance payment of the export orders and making arrangement for FI from bank.
  • Liaise with shipping company for submission of required documents e.g LOI letter/Bank certificate/BL format.
  • Communicate with import/transportation departments to ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant product movement.
  • Comply and ensure compliance to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), Quality and other related policies, guidelines, and requirements as applicable by law and GSK Corporate Guidelines.

  • Any other responsibility assigned from time to time as per business requirements.
