Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Lahore for a VOB Specialist. The VOB Specialist will be responsible for verifying patient insurance benefits, ensuring accurate data input, and communicating with insurance providers to resolve issues. They will also handle coordination with healthcare providers to confirm policy details, identify coverage gaps, and address discrepancies. Responsibilities include maintaining documentation, adhering to compliance standards, and meeting deadlines while providing efficient support to the billing team.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in insurance verification, benefit coordination, and claims resolution
  • Strong data entry, documentation, and record-keeping skills
  • Knowledge of compliance standards, HIPAA regulations, and healthcare policies
  • Effective communication skills for engaging with insurance providers and healthcare teams
  • Ability to manage tasks efficiently, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience in medical billing, RCM, or insurance verification roles is preferred
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, billing software, and industry best practices
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field is advantageous
