Dispatch Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and dependable Remote Dispatcher to coordinate and manage delivery routes and schedules for our drivers. Working from home, you will ensure timely, efficient, and professional service by dispatching vehicles, monitoring progress, and communicating with drivers and customers. Key Responsibilities:

Dispatch & Route Coordination

• Plan, schedule, and dispatch drivers for timely pickups and deliveries
• Monitor driver routes using GPS or dispatch software
• Adjust schedules in response to delays, weather, or customer needs
• Communicate route changes and delivery updates to drivers in real time

Customer & Driver Communication

• Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers and customers during deliveries
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve delivery issues promptly and professionally
• Ensure drivers follow safety and delivery protocols
• Maintain records of driver activity, delivery times, and service outcomes

Administrative Support

• Input and update delivery information in internal systems
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance reports
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management as needed

Requirements:

• • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus
• • 1–3 years of experience in dispatching, logistics, or customer service
• • Experience using dispatch or fleet management software (e.g., Samsara, Fleet Complete, Verizon Connect) is a plus
• • Strong computer skills and familiarity with email, spreadsheets, and communication tools (e.g., Slack, Teams, Zoom)
• • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• • Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure
• • Reliable internet connection and a quiet, distraction-free work environment
