About the Role:

We are looking for a Junior Developer with a strong foundation in programming and a keen interest in learning how to build smart TV applications. You will work with a team of experienced engineers to develop, maintain, and optimize TV app interfaces, layouts, and backend integrations. This is an excellent opportunity for developers who have experience with UI-based frameworks (like Android XML, React, or Flutter) and want to explore embedded and streaming application development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on building and structuring TV application interfaces using XML-based layouts and component-driven architecture.
  • Develop and maintain application logic using a lightweight scripting language (training will be provided).
  • Integrate RESTful APIs to fetch and display content dynamically.
  • Collaborate with senior developers on feature development, bug fixing, and UI/UX enhancements.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Use Git for version control and participate in code reviews.

Required Skils & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of programming fundamentals (variables, loops, functions, conditions, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts such as classes, objects, inheritance, and encapsulation.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages — JavaScript, Python, Java, or C# preferred.
  • Familiarity with XML or any structured UI layout language (e.g., Android XML, React JSX, Flutter widgets).
  • Understanding of REST APIs, JSON data handling, and XML parsing.
  • Knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies quickly.
