Simpaisa is looking for a proactive and customer-focused IT Helpdesk Officer to support our employees, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure smooth daily IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level technical support to employees via phone, email, and in person.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Manage user accounts, email setups, and access permissions.
  • Ensure timely resolution of IT support tickets and maintain proper documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for escalated issues.
  • Perform routine system checks, updates, and maintenance.
  • Support onboarding/offboarding by preparing and retrieving IT assets.
  • Ensure adherence to IT security policies and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in IT support/helpdesk roles.
  • Strong understanding of Windows OS, network basics, and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, MS Office 365, and ticketing systems.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
