Simpaisa is looking for a proactive and customer-focused IT Helpdesk Officer to support our employees, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure smooth daily IT operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level technical support to employees via phone, email, and in person.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Manage user accounts, email setups, and access permissions.
- Ensure timely resolution of IT support tickets and maintain proper documentation.
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for escalated issues.
- Perform routine system checks, updates, and maintenance.
- Support onboarding/offboarding by preparing and retrieving IT assets.
- Ensure adherence to IT security policies and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in IT support/helpdesk roles.
- Strong understanding of Windows OS, network basics, and hardware troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, MS Office 365, and ticketing systems.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
