IT Technician

Job Summary:

Kasib Associates is seeking a skilled and proactive IT Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, providing technical support to staff, ensuring smooth network operations, and managing office equipment such as photocopy machines and printers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Networking Support

• Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (wired and wireless).
• Monitor network performance and perform regular maintenance.
• Support VPN and firewall configuration.
• Ensure cybersecurity protocols are followed.

2. Printer & Photocopy Machine Handling

• Install and configure printers, photocopiers, and scanners.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware or software malfunctions.
• Perform routine maintenance and coordinate with vendors for service or parts replacement.
• Maintain inventory of toner, cartridges, and spare parts.

3. Technical Support

• Provide first-line technical support to staff (in-person, phone, or remote).
• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and other peripherals.
• Assist in the installation and updating of software applications.
• Respond to, i.e., Troubleshoot and resolve IT related issues within the organization.

4. System Maintenance & Documentation

• Maintain IT inventory and asset records.
• Keep software licenses and hardware warranties up to date.
• Ensure backup systems are functioning and data recovery processes are tested.

5. Other Responsibilities

• Support video conferencing systems and audio-visual equipment.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding of employees from an IT perspective.
• Provide training or guidance to staff on IT tools and best practices.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers when needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in a technical support or IT technician role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, networking fundamentals, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with printer/copier troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 04 Year Graduate - BSCS
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) are a plus.
• Experienced in working with organizations with 100+ employees and effective performance under pressure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs60, Rs70,000.00 per month
