Job Overview

VeriDoc Global is looking for a passionate Junior WordPress Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of WordPress, be eager to learn, and assist in customizing themes, plugins, and resolving basic front-end and back-end issues under the guidance of senior developers.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist in customizing WordPress themes to meet client requirements.

· Support in fixing basic website issues and bugs.

· Help optimize website performance (image compression, basic caching).

· Ensure websites are mobile responsive and cross-browser compatible.

· Learn to build and maintain custom themes and plugins.

· Follow security best practices under supervision.

Required Skills & Experience

· 1+ year of WordPress development.

· Knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

· Familiarity with installing and configuring WordPress plugins.

· Willingness to learn advanced WordPress features like custom post types, taxonomies, and ACF.

· Understanding of responsive design principles.

· Good communication skills (English, oral and written).
