Position Overview: Application Developer

Turn Up Technologies is seeking a skilled and motivated Application Developer
to join our dynamic team at the Karachi Development Centre. The ideal candidate will have
2–4 years of hands-on experience
in designing, developing, and maintaining web and mobile applications. We are looking for someone who is passionate about writing clean, efficient code and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

As an Application Developer, you will work closely with designers, project managers, and QA engineers to build scalable, high-performance applications that deliver an exceptional user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain web and mobile applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems and applications.
  • Integrate APIs and third-party services as required.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Work within Agile/Scrum development cycles and participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and reviews.
  • Ensure application performance, security, and scalability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in application or full-stack development.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as
    JavaScript (React, , ), Python, C#, or Java
    .
  • Experience with
    RESTful APIs
    ,
    databases (MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL)
    , and
    version control (Git)
    .
  • Familiarity with
    front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
    and
    responsive design
    .
  • Knowledge of
    SDLC
    ,
    Agile methodologies

    DevOps practices
    .
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with
    cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

  • Familiarity with
    CI/CD pipelines
    and
    containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
    .
  • Understanding of
    microservices architecture
    and
    API security
    .
  • Exposure to
    mobile app development (React Native, Flutter, Swift, or Kotlin)
